Here at Tattenhall Runners we have a small but active band of members that regularly take to the fells to train and to race. We organise the Llantisilio Mountain Race near Llangollen every April and enter a team in the annual British Fell Relay Championship.
Also, over the last few years increasing numbers of Tattenhall Runners have pitted themselves against the 3 ‘classic’ long distance fell running challenges. Details of their exploits can be found in these pages. And the latest addition to this list of achievements is the ladies Bob Graham relay that provided a fantastic weekend in June 2010 for a large group from the club - read all about it below!

The Adventures of the Boob Grahamers!
Oops! This was all my fault! The idea of a women’s Bob Graham relay was thrown about in the club, and I thought, well, I’ll organise it then. It took 6 months of planning and re-planning to get there, and it was fantastic to see the excitement and commitment of the ‘Boobs’ throughout. I was very impressed with all their training and motivation, and combination of ‘comforts’ (cottages, cake, wine, coffee etc) with mountain toughness! When it came to the actual attempt, I had every faith! I was really proud of everyone, including all the ‘mules’ and supporters, and it was amazing to see everyone beaming and buzzing afterwards. Well done everyone! (Jennifer Taylor).
