Your best six scores over the seven races adding up to your personal final score. Prizes are awarded in each age group for the lowest scores. Runners can miss one race without penalty but men score 500 points for each extra race missed whilst ladies score 150. There is also a team competition within the league The first ten men finishers count towards the clubs men's team score whilst the first four ladies count towards the ladies team score. There are punitive penalties if any team falls short of the required numbers to make up a team. 300 points for each missing man and 100 points for each lady. Each year there are also awards for the most improved men's and ladies teams based upon the same scoring system but the current years team scores are compared with last seasons results.
